Sampo to acquire the remaining 50.5% stake in Topdanmark for DKK16.6bn.

Sampo, a Finnish insurance company, agreed to acquire the remaining 50.5% stake in Topdanmark, one of the largest insurance companies in Denmark, for DKK16.6bn. "Our and Topdanmark’s strategies have further aligned in recent years as pure P&C insurers. The unanimously recommended Offer we are announcing today is the next logical step on this journey.
