Verdane and Södra completed the investment in Njord Carbon.

Verdane, a specialist growth investment firm, and Södra, a Swedish forestry cooperative, completed the investment in Njord Carbon, a high-quality carbon removals solutions provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Södra is constantly developing our sustainable family-based forestry, streamlining our industrial processes and reducing our emissions. We believe carbon capture and storage strengthens our long-term work towards an increasingly positive effect for the climate,” said Andreas Hörnfeldt, Södra Head of New Business.
