A consortium of investors to acquire a 40% stake in Hydro Dolomiti Energia from Macquarie Group for €400m.

A consortium of investors including Equitix, Tages Capital, and La Finanziaria Trentina, agreed to acquire a 40% stake in Hydro Dolomiti Energia, one of the major Italian hydroelectric energy producers, from Macquarie Group, a global financial services group, for €400m. “Hydropower is a strategic asset, playing a key role in the energy transition and providing a clean and system-critical source of power as the installation of new solar and wind accelerates across Italy.
