PI Industries, an agri-sciences company, agreed to acquire Plant Health Care, a provider of proprietary biological products for agriculture, for £32.8m. The acquisition will represent the first step in PI's broader strategy to strengthen its biological portfolio through acquiring early-stage, innovative technology platforms and investing in the integration and scaling of business operations. PI aims to build a robust pipeline of advanced agricultural solutions through continued M&A activities, focusing on complementary bolt-ons that enhance and diversify its offerings.
