Hilcorp completed the acquisition of Nikaitchuq and Oooguruk assets from Eni for $1bn.

Hilcorp, an energy exploration and production company, completed the acquisition of Nikaitchuq and Oooguruk assets from Eni, a multinational energy company, for $1bn. The transaction, which received the approval of all relevant authorities, is in line with Eni’s strategy focused on the rationalization of the upstream activities by rebalancing its portfolio and divesting non-strategic assets.
