Mapri Ehitus, an Estonian non-residential buildings constructor, completed the acquisition of a 72% stake in Bauschmidt, a Lithuanian construction company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The natural next step was to move further south. We have at least three reasons for our expansion. Firstly, Lithuania has the largest economy in the Baltic States, and we couldn't continue without them. Several of our regular clients wanted to expand their operations in Lithuania. And thirdly, as Estonia's largest agricultural construction company, we entered the market by acquiring a stake in a company primarily engaged in agricultural construction. Now we can apply our experience to the Lithuanian market,” Priit Jaagant, Mapri Ehitus Chairman of the Board.
