VR Equitypartner-backed Bookwire to acquire the digital distribution business from IPG.

VR Equitypartner-backed Bookwire, a solution for the production, distribution, and marketing of ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, and print-on-demand products, agreed to acquire the digital distribution business from IPG, a book distribution and sales company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This step is part of our internationalization strategy and substantially strengthens Bookwire's market presence in the US.
