F2i Sgr and Crédit Agricole Assurances backed EF Solare Italia to acquire a majority stake in SCS Engineering.

F2i Sgr and Crédit Agricole Assurances backed EF Solare Italia, an operator of solar photovoltaic plants, agreed to acquire a majority stake in SCS Ingegneria, a renowned consulting engineering firm specialized in aeronautical sector, renewable energy and civil construction. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The entry into the capital of SCS represents a strategic step for EF Solare. SCS is able to offer an important contribution to our technical and engineering know-how by strengthening it and extending it to new renewable technologies and of electrolytic storage. Moreover, the contribution to the development of new renewable capacity will be fundamental. In addition to the acceleration of the already started revamping and repowering program on our plants.
