Macquarie to acquire a 50% stake in Energia Mayakan from Engie for $180m.

Macquarie, a global infrastructure firm, agreed to acquire a 50% stake in Energia Mayakan, a Mayakan gas pipeline on the Yucatán peninsula of southeast Mexico, from Engie, a French energy company, for $180m. The project will stimulate the economic development of Chiapas, Campeche, Tabasco and Yucatán states, Macquarie said in a release.
