PT RMK Energy to acquire PT Artha Nusantara Mining and PT Artha Nusantara Resources from Agentur Valle for $80m.

PT RMK Energy, a coal logistics provider, agreed to acquire PT Artha Nusantara Mining, a company being involved in the coal mining sector, and PT Artha Nusantara Resources, an operator of a mining company, from Agentur Valle, a provider of legal and accounting services, for $80m. "With the acquisition of these three mines, RMKE will be able to increase its in-house coal production to 2.2m MT, an increase of 1.2m MT from last year’s in-house production. With the higher in-house coal production, the Company is optimistic about selling 3.3m MT of coal this year," added William.
