Dexter Paine, Chairman of Paine Schwartz Partners, agreed to acquire Maine Mariners, a professional ice hockey team in the ECHL, from Comcast Spectacor, which owns and operates the Wells Fargo Center arena and complex. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The city of Portland and the great State of Maine have a rich and proud tradition of hockey.
