Silgan completed the acquisition of Weener Packaging from 3i Group for €838m.

Silgan, a supplier of sustainable rigid packaging solutions, completed the acquisition of Weener Packaging, a producer of differentiated dispensing solutions for personal care, food and healthcare products, from 3i Group, a British multinational private equity and venture capital company, for €838m. “The acquisition of Weener represents the continuation of our strategy to expand our global Dispensing and Specialty Closures franchise and a clear example of the effectiveness of our disciplined capital allocation model to create value for our shareholders.
