Synopsis
WesBanco, a bank holding company, agreed to merge with Premier Financial, the holding company for Premier Bank, in a $959m deal. PIPE investors include Wellington Management, Glendon Capital Management and Klaros Capital. “Today is an exciting day in WesBanco’s 155-year history as we announce our proposed merger with Premier and mark another milestone in our long-term growth strategy.
