Synopsis

WoodBridge Healthcare, a a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing patient-centered care in urban and rural communities, agreed to acquire Regional Hospital, Moses Taylor Hospital, and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital from CHS, a provider of general hospital healthcare services, for $120m. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. The hospitals included in this transaction are among the additional potential divestitures discussed on the Company’s second quarter 2024 earnings call.
