Komatsu to acquire a 74% stake in UMW Komatsu Heavy Equipment from UMW Corporation.

Komatsu, a company that specializes in the manufacturing and sale of construction and mining equipment, agreed to acquire a 74% stake in UMW Komatsu Heavy Equipment, an operator of heavy equipment, from UMW Corporation, a Malaysian investment holding company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
