Energy Capital Partners to acquire Lightstone Generation from Blackstone and ArcLight Capital Partners.

Energy Capital Partners agreed to acquire Lightstone Generation, a portfolio company that includes Ohio’s 2.6 GW coal-fired Gavin power plant, from private equity firms Blackstone and ArcLight Capital Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed. Lightstone will be a fitting addition to ECP’s portfolio. Historically, ECP has been a leading investor for power, renewables, storage, sustainability, and decarbonization infrastructure.
