Smiths Group to acquire Modular Metal Fabricators and Wattco for £110m.

Smiths Group, an industrial technology company, agreed to acquire Modular Metal Fabricators, a HVAC firm, and Wattco, an electrical heating solutions company for £110m. "These strategic and disciplined acquisitions represent a meaningful expansion in our HVAC and electrical heating solutions segments. Each business brings a highly complementary customer base, product range and approach to technology, while enhancing our geographical coverage.
