LEAG Group to acquire Scandbio from Lantmännen.

LEAG Group, a sustainable solid fuels, agreed to acquire Scandbio, a company that developed technical knowledge in wood fuel production, from Lantmännen, Swedish agricultural cooperative. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Scandbio has developed very well within Lantmännen in the past several years. As part of LEAG Group, which is a strong player in European energy production, Scandbio will find a suitable industrial home, in order to further develop as an important player in the biomass industry,” Magnus Kagevik, Lantmännen Group President and CEO.
