CBRE Investment Management, a real assets investment manager, completed the acquisition of a 80% stake in Geonova, a geothermal energy business that provides decentralised heating and cooling services using ground source heat pump technology. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Investing in businesses like Geonova demonstrates our strategy of decarbonising the built environment. We can support that strategy by bringing to bear the capabilities of our entire CBRE platform,” Andreas Köttering, CBRE IM Head of Private Infrastructure Europe.
