Mattr, a materials technology company, completed the acquisition of AmerCable, a manufacturer of jacketed electrical power, control and instrumentation cables, from Nexans, a manufacturer of cable systems and services, for $280m. "AmerCable is a highly respected North American cabling company with exceptional brand and product development capabilities. We plan to grow the business further and expand its successful operations," Mike Reeves, Mattr CEO.
