Midea to acquire a controlling stake in Toshiba Elevator China.

Midea, an electrical appliance manufacturer, agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Toshiba Elevator China, a company to develop, design, manufacture and sell elevators under the Toshiba brand in the Chinese. Financial terms were not disclosed.
