Synopsis
Omnicom, a provider of data-inspired, creative marketing and sales solutions, agreed to acquire Interpublic Group, a values-based, data-fueled, and creatively-driven provider of marketing solutions, for $14.65bn including debt. “This strategic acquisition creates significant value for both sets of shareholders by combining world-class, highly complementary data and technology platforms enabling new offerings to better serve our clients and drive growth,” John Wren, Omnicom Chairman and CEO.
