Salix Group to acquire Timberman Denmark from Amorim Cork Flooring.

Salix Group, a trading company offering products to the construction industry and building trades, agreed to acquire Timberman Denmark, a Danish hard floor coverings supplier, from Amorim Cork Flooring, a company developing sustainable cork based flooring solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are pleased to acquire Timberman, a well-renowned company with a strong position in the industry. Timberman complements our operations excellently, creating a stronger geographical presence through Timberman’s position in the Danish market and our established strength in Sweden. With this acquisition, we also strengthen our product portfolio while seeing significant potential in jointly building an even stronger Salix Group,” Martin Hansson, Salix Group CEO.
