Allwyn to acquire a 51% stake in Novibet for €217m.

Allwyn, a multi-national lottery operator, agreed to acquire a 51% stake in Novibet, an online sports betting and gaming group, for €217m. Allwyn’s acquisition of Novibet enhances the group’s technological capabilities as well as strengthening its capabilities in the online sports betting and gaming markets, continuing Allwyn’s strategy of making selective acquisitions in relevant products, technologies and content to support its growth. In line with this strategy, earlier this year, Allwyn acquired a majority stake in Instant Win Gaming, a leading provider of eInstants to lotteries worldwide.
