Variety Wholesalers to acquire between 200 and 400 stores from Big Lots.

Variety Wholesalers, a retail, and department stores, shopping centers & superstores company, agreed to acquire between 200 and 400 stores from Big Lots, a closeout retailer. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are pleased to close this strategic transaction, which provides a framework to preserve thousands of jobs, maximize value, and maintain the Big Lots brand.
