LGT Capital Partners completed the investment in Barbri.

LGT Capital Partners, a private equity firm, completed the investment in Barbri, one of the leading providers of tech-enabled legal learning solutions for law students, professionals, law schools, universities, law firms and other organizations. Financial terms were not disclosed. LGT Capital Partners has partnered with Francisco Partners, which has held a majority stake in the company since 2021, through a minority recapitalization. Under Francisco Partners ownership, Barbri has evolved from a test-preparation-focused company to a technology-enabled platform provider of learning solutions across the full spectrum of needs for aspiring lawyers to experienced legal professionals. LGT Capital Partners’ investment will support the continued investment into Barbri’s professional learning offerings as well as its European expansion initiatives.
