Meteors Shipping to acquire MV Ocean Drover from Wellard for $50m.

Meteors Shipping, a privately held maritime transportation company, agreed to acquire MV Ocean Drover, a livestock carrier, from Wellard, a firm that sources and distributes livestock and meat, for $50m. "The MV Ocean Drover has been the flagship of the Wellard fleet in terms of profitability and capacity, and I have no doubt it will be a fantastic asset for its new owners," John Klepec, Wellard Executive Chairman.
