GP Günter Papenburg and TSR Recycling to acquire Salzgitter for $1.2bn.

GP Günter Papenburg, a company that provides construction services, and TSR Recycling, a company that provides recycling of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals, agreed to acquire Salzgitter, a steel production company, for $1.2bn. “The company is in the process of examining the non-binding offer, including the price indicated. The outcome of the assessment and discussion with the consortium is open," Salzgitter.
