NOVA Infrastructure-backed UGE International, a community solar and battery storage business, completed the acquisition of 122 solar projects in the US from OYA Renewables, a North American renewable energy developer and independent power producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are pleased to be carrying forward these promising projects, with the aim to bring as many as possible to fruition and into our growing operating portfolio. Each one of these parcels has the potential to bring cleaner, cheaper, local electricity generation to surrounding communities, and it is our goal to help make that happen," Nick Blitterswyk, UGE International CEO.
