e& PPF Telecom, a Central and South-eastern Europe telecom services provider, completed the acquisition of Serbia Broadband, a Serbian cable television and broadband internet service provider, and Telekom Srbija, a Serbian state-owned telecommunications operator, completed the acquisition of the Net TV Plus business from United Group, a telecoms and media operator, for €1.5bn. “This deal will allow us to complement the existing services that we offer to our Yettel customers in Serbia, and a wider suite of offerings to SBB subscribers. Also, I am confident that Yettel and SBB customers will benefit from the greater synergies this transaction will bring,” Balesh Sharma, e& PPF Telecom CEO.
