Poste Italiane to acquire a 9.81% stake in Telecom Italia.

Poste Italiane, an Italian postal, communications, logistics, financial and insurance services provider, agreed to acquire a 9.81% stake in Telecom Italia, an Italian telecommunications company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The operation represents, as a whole, a strategic investment for Poste Italiane, with the aim of creating synergies between companies and promoting, with all the actors concerned, the consolidation of the telecommunications market in Italy.
