Scania to acquire Systems Industrial division of Northvolt.

Scania, a Swedish manufacturer of commercial vehicles and diesel engines, agreed to acquire Systems Industrial division of Northvolt, a Swedish battery developer and manufacturer. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are pleased to have arrived at this agreement which aims towards securing a bright future for the people, technology and products of Northvolt Systems Industrial. I’m excited to see the continued growth and development of Systems Industrial as a result of this acquisition," Elin Åkerström, Northvolt Systems Industrial Vice President.
