Sodick, a technology company, completed the acquisition of an 84.85% stake in Prima Additive, a manufacturer of industrial metal additive manufacturing systems, from Alpha Private Equity and Peninsula Capital-backed Prima Industrie, an industrial technology group. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Prima Industrie has decided to sell Prima Additive to focus more on its core business of sheet metal processing systems and 3D laser cutting machines. We are pleased to transfer Prima Additive to Sodick, a company that will undoubtedly allow it to realize its full potential," Giovanni Negri, Prima Industrie CEO.
