Hannover Life Re of Australasia to acquire the Australian business of iptiQ from Swiss Re.

Hannover Life Re of Australasia, a provider of specialised insurance and reinsurance solutions, agreed to acquire iptiQ, a digital B2B2C insurance platform, from Swiss Re, a reinsurance provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are confident that the new owner of our direct life insurance portfolio in Australia will serve the interests of policyholders.
