Indiana Michigan Power to acquire Oregon Clean Energy Center.

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M), a regulated electric utility and a subsidiary of American Electric Power (AEP), agreed to acquire Oregon Clean Energy Center, a privately funded gas turbine energy plant built in Ohio. Financial terms were not disclosed. "I&M has established the need for additional electric generation, and we believe the Oregon Clean Energy Center is an important opportunity to further diversify our current generation portfolio and position I&M for future growth. It is our responsibility to ensure that our current and future customers have reliable and affordable power," Steve Baker, I&M President and COO.
