Horizon and Kurz to form a joint venture.

Horizon, a manufacturer of high-performance separator films for lithium-ion batteries and an important supplier to e-mobility manufacturers worldwide, and Kurz, a specialist in thin-film technology based in Fürth, agreed to form a joint venture focused on High-Performance Coating Solutions in Fürth. Financial terms were not disclosed. “With the new company and Horizon as the majority partner, we are tapping into a highly dynamic market segment with enormous future potential,” Rainer Süßmann, Kurz Executive Senior Vice President of the Business Area Plastic Decoration.
