Western Digital completed an investment in Cerabyte.

Western Digital, an American computer hard disk drive manufacturer and data storage company, completed an investment in Cerabyte, a company pioneering ceramic-based data storage solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are looking forward to working with Cerabyte to formulate a technology partnership for the commercialization of this technology. Our investment in Cerabyte aligns with our priority of extending the reach of our products further into long-term data storage use cases,” Shantnu Sharma, Western Digital CSO and CDO.
