Gladstone Investment and Xyresic Capital to acquire Smart Chemical Solutions from Palo Duro.

Gladstone Investment, a business development company, and Xyresic Capital, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire Smart Chemical Solutions, a provider of specialty chemicals, from Palo Duro, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This investment represents our dedication to our ultimate goal of investing in quality companies that will produce stable income for dividends to Gladstone Investment's shareholders, as well as longer-term capital appreciation resulting in capital gains," David Dullum, Gladstone Investment President.
