Cadeler to acquire Boqiang 3060 from Shanghai Boqiang Heavy Industry Group.

Cadeler, an offshore windmills installation services provider, agreed to acquire Boqiang 3060, a wind turbine installation vessel, from Shanghai Boqiang Heavy Industry Group, a Chinese private enterprise specializing in heavy industry, with a focus on the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of equipment for the energy sector. Financial terms were not disclosed. "As an installation-capable, service-oriented asset, the Wind Keeper will be a valuable addition to our fleet. She strongly complements our existing vessel portfolio, immediately permitting operational synergies and allowing us to provide much-needed service support to our clients’ operating offshore assets," Mikkel Gleerup, Cadeler CEO.
