CMB.TECH completed the acquisition of a 70% stake in Golden Ocean Group from Hemen Holding for $1.5bn.

CMB.TECH, a company specializing in diversified shipping services and sustainable maritime technologies, completed the acquisition of a 70% stake in Golden Ocean Group, a company focused on dry bulk shipping, from Hemen Holding, a company indirectly controlled by trusts established by John Fredriksen for the benefit of his immediate family, for $1.5bn. “Today, we are delighted to close the merger between CMB.TECH and Golden Ocean.
