IndiGrid completed the acquisition of Koppal-narendra Transmission and Renew Surya Aayan Private from KNI and Renew Transmission Ventures Private for INR21bn.

IndiGrid, India’s listed power sector infrastructure investment trust, completed the acquisition of Koppal-narendra Transmission, a transmission project, and Renew Surya Aayan Private, a solar project, from KNI, an investment fund intended to invest in renewable energy projects in India, and Renew Transmission Ventures Private, an Indian private company for INR21bn. “These acquisitions align with our long-term strategy to participate meaningfully in this transformation by owning and operating essential infrastructure that supports grid stability and energy access. RSAPL and KNTL are both high-quality operational assets that deepen our presence in key geographies and enhance our portfolio’s diversification and are DPU accretive,” Harsh Shah, IndiGrid's Managing Director.
