Modern Tyres, a family-run business started by Jimmy Byrne in 1965, completed the acquisition of BestDrive Ireland, provider of automotive maintenance and full car servicing, from Continental Global Holding Netherlands, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Continental AG and operates as a holding company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
