International Finance Corporation and Proparco to invest in Helios for $50m.

International Finance Corporation, a multilateral development institution, and Proparco, a development finance institution, agreed to invest in Helios for $50m. "Investing in Africa’s sports and entertainment sector is not only about supporting creativity and talent, but it’s also about unlocking economic opportunities and jobs for a generation of young Africans. Through this partnership with IFC and Helios, we aim to catalyse sustainable growth in a sector full of potential," Françoise Lombard, Proparco CEO.
