The J.R. Simplot Company, a family-owned global food and agriculture company, completed the acquisition of Clarebout Potatoes, a Belgian manufacturer of frozen potato products, specializing in french fries and potato flakes. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition brings together two market leaders in the processing and distribution of frozen potato products and related services.
