Synopsis

The Sterling Group and Capitol Meridian Partners Capital-backed PrimeFlight Aviation Services, a provider of aviation services, including aircraft maintenance, cargo handling, and safety technology, completed the acquisition of cargo handling operations at Miami International Airport (MIA), Richmond International Airport (RIC), and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan (SJU) from Saltchuk Aviation Capital-backed StratAir, a freight company specializing in scheduled air freight, charters, ground handling services, and warehousing. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition is a key step forward in our mission to build a world-class, integrated cargo handling network. StratAir has built a strong reputation in the industry, and we are excited to bring their expertise, infrastructure and customer relationships into our growing portfolio. Together, we are even better positioned to support the evolving needs of the air cargo industry," Craig Smyth, PrimeFlight President and CEO.
