Aksìa to acquire Fornaio del Casale from Riello Investimenti.

Aksìa, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire Fornaio del Casale, a traditional wholesaler specializing in the industrial pastry and bread substitutes sector, from Riello Investimenti, a private equity investment firm. Financial terms are not disclosed. Aksìa’s entry will support Fornaio del Casale in pursuing an “ambitious buy-and-build strategy to establish a leading group in the sweet and savory snack market”, the companies said in a joint statement.
