Carmeuse, a Belgian limestone producer, completed the acquisition of 97.1% stake in Cementos Bío Bío, a Chilean cement, concrete, and lime manufacturer, in a $505m deal. The deal strengthens Carmeuse’s footprint in the global cement market and builds on its portfolio of 100 sites across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
