DRB-Hicom to acquire the Malaysian operations of Spirit AeroSystems for $95m.

DRB-Hicom, a Malaysian automotive company, agreed to acquire the Malaysian operations of Spirit AeroSystems, an American manufacturer of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, for $95m. This transaction was entered into following the previously announced merger agreement with Boeing and subsequent definitive agreement with Airbus. The transaction is expected to close in the 4th quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions being met.
