Stark to acquire UK Energy Services from Siemens.

Stark, a retailer and distributor of building materials, agreed to acquire UK Energy Services from Siemens, a global energy technology company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The sale is part of Siemens' portfolio strategy to divest from non-core businesses: The Energy Services business will gain new opportunities for growth under new leadership. At the same time, it will allow Siemens to concentrate more intensively on its core business activities, enabling Siemens to better leverage its key competencies and market position.” Carl Ennis, Siemens Chief Executive.
