Covestro to acquire Vencorex USA and Vencorex Thailand from Vencorex Holding.

Covestro, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality polymer materials and their components, agreed to acquire Vencorex USA and Vencorex Thailand, a two-standalone production site for HDI (Hexamethylene Diisocyanate) from Vencorex Holding, a global supplier of aliphatic isocyanates. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The acquisition of these two former Vencorex sites fits perfectly with our portfolio and our strategic goals," Christian Baier, Covestro Chief Financial Officer.
